? 4/25/20 Zeke’s Snack at +10 pmps Helps amps #

When I’m off I can give Zeke a snack at this time, I’ve noticed he is hungry then if I am awake, and it helps the amps number decrease. If no snack, he is higher? I am getting ready to start using a feeder, and will set it for this snack when I am at work, (amps is when I get home from night shift).
Can someone tell me why this is?

With cats on very small doses, their pancreas is sputtering. Often a small snack around +9 will kick start the pancreas and bring down the preshot number. Usually we suggest this when cats get down to 0.1 units dose. The worry is that if their pancreas is not healing enough, the late snack will shorten duration and bring the preshot numbers up.

Try it, and see if it works. Back off if it doesn't and save the idea for later. Food experiments need time to see if it works, so try it at least a week.
