Day 22 @ 1.5 Units Lantus

Good morning/afternoon.....I'm a little late posting today...Yoyo some how hurt his back left paw last night or some time during the day. I didn't notice that something was wrong until after feeding him his dinner.

Yoyo only has 3 legs so when he hurts one of his legs/paws it is very difficult for him to get around.
He was curling his paw and cried when I touched it. He let me place ice on the area and he actually was better after a short time. He started to put weight on his paw.

One of the pads looks a little larger than his other paw pad so maybe he did something to the bottom of his paw. After he felt better last night he ate for me which was a good sign.
Today he is eating and resting which is also a good sign because he is not agitated at all...thank goodness:)

I'm keeping a close eye on him to see if he needs further medical attention.
I hope it is only a sprain or that he stepped on something to cause discomfort.

I'm glad that you were able to get the food that you needed. For me- it is a terrible feeling or should I say fear, when I think that I can't get what I need.

I hope Yo's paw is healing, I was so worried last night that it could be something else. My mind went all over the place. I am so so very happy that he is feeling better today and using it and not crying when I touch his paw.

Oh my .... I sure hope his foot is ok! I got a sinking feeling when I read that! My feelings when Luci fell and hurt her foot...I had no idea we were looking at months in a cast. I sure hope he improves on his own! Sending supportive hugs and prayers your way!
