Hi everyone. It's been a while, and I hope you and your kitties are all doing well.
I would appreciate some dosing advice. Would anyone mind looking over Edward's SS and letting me know their thoughts? I don't want to increase, but I wonder if it might be time?
Side note... Edward had a very sudden onset (no apparent trauma) of rear hind leg lameness and pain (yowling, hissing, obvious distress) last Saturday. He could not put any weight on his right hind leg. Emergency vet noted pain upon palpation along femur; noted that paws were warm; and saw nothing of concern on x-rays. We were sent home with gabapentin (0.9mL BID) and Onsior 6mg tabs. He can put some weight on the leg now, but is still limping badly and can't really jump anymore. This is the second time this has happened - the first time led to his diabetes diagnosis back in January. That time, they were similarly unable to determine what exactly was wrong. Thankfully that time, the limp resolved after several weeks. I have an appointment with my regular vet this Thursday. I have am very worried about my boy, but am praying this is just a fluke and won't recur.
Here's a cute pic of Edward from last week, before his emergency visit.
