I need help - I set the auto feeders except I forgot to bring hers into the room with me so she only got a PMPS and a +2

She was quietly meowing at me this morning and I thought “how can she be hungry” because there’s a +4 and +6.5 set until I woke up and looked down and saw I didn’t put the feeder out

She’s currently acting ok -

I smeared some corn syrup on her gums and let her slurp some FF gravy and some chucks down.
Will test again in a few minutes

Breathe. Keep doing what you are doing and test again and post the result. :bighug:
Thank you Carla.... i can’t believe she dropped so much... she is so confusing...
I’m taking her back down to 1.25 and I’m just not sure how to think about this whole increase being so sensitive... :(

I can never leave her. If I have her watched if I’m ever away for even a day I’m going to have to show someone how to take my place. Or I’m going to have to take her on the trips with me...
she surprises me so much. Especially with her numbers from earlier being in the 200s

do you think she dropped that low because she didn’t eat her other two scheduled meals?
She must have been so hungry poor thing... I almost didn’t wake up too because her meow was faint enough (almost like she wasn’t all that hungry she was just ansi to get out of the room and wanted me to open the door)
And the first couple of attempts to get blood weren’t working and I almost skipped the blood test...

Oh Mimi, you have me on lock and key.

Mimi +7.6 131... fed regular LC, and I’m going to try and get back to sleep for a couple more hours...

she’s acting normal. The only thing that was different about her with the low numbers was she had her “hungry meows”. I know all of her meows. Or at least I know when she meows it’s because she’s either hungry or wants me to open a door for her to get in somewhere.

glad my other cat doesn’t have the diabetes because he meows constantly just for attention. He meows when he’s hungry or when he’s not hungry. He meows just so I can come over and love on him (which is all the time) and meows like a crazy if I forget to let him out of a room! ( I have to put him into the bedroom when I cook anything with chicken, eggs or butter because he tries to eat it while I’m cooking)
Even if I toss him off the counter, which I do - he comes right back up like we’re playing a game.

Man, I love cats, they’re so cute and funny

I’m sure I’m bias but I really do have the best ones. My Mimi and my Batman have my whole heart

Just a suggestion for 'next time'....she had a nice blue at PMPS and then dropped at 2+. That was your signal to set an alarm and get another test again at 3 or 4+ at the latest. So next time, you'll be able to catch those falling numbers and head her off at the pass...yes, it's awful to have to lose sleep...but sometimes you gotta do it just to outsmart these kids :) Nice that she alerted you of her low number last night...:)

Omg how did I miss that... when I read the 121 I read it as higher or the same as the 145. I think because it was close that’s why I didn’t realize she was dropping? Shite. Ok.
i also forgot to change the digital caliper this morning so she got 1.5 this morning as well... let’s see how tonight goes.. I lowered it to 1.25

I feel more out of it with more time on my hands!!!
