Luci had an agenda last night! She made it known at PMPS with that beautiful green! Then she was off to the surfing championships and it's a good thing DH is a bit of a night owl, staying up late and checking on her to make sure she stayed firmly grasped to her surfboard. He started her on a little bit of medium carb around 4+ and successfully steered her away from those dangerous sharks that she so loves to go play with!

She seems to be feeling mighty perky this morning and has already attacked and shredded a receipt that fell out of a bag this morning ... good to see her feeling so well.

I was able to enjoy a sunny day starting on the lanai with coffee, biscotti and the newspaper then a bit of shopping after suiting up with my hazmat gear - I wonder why everyone isn't wearing it! I'm certain they've gotten the message - but it does clear up the question of how cases of COVID-19 continue to pop up...people will NOT listen or wear protective gear...I just have to shake my head - can't fix stupid I guess?

At least I'm rewarded with everything I'm looking for being in stock. Here's a pic of Costco - I have to wonder what they're going to do with all that paper - it doesn't appear to be moving. And they have signs up that they will not accept returns on any of it either - no returns on TP, Paper towel, rice, and a few other items that apparently people were buying in super large quantities...

Have a great Sunday everyone! Continue to hope and pray things continue to improve. I was happy to hear that at the hospital where I work they never saw the anticipated number of patients (5K-8K) instead they actually admitted 500...and are discharging more than they're admitting...so the numbers are looking better every day. Even here in Florida, where we apparently haven't reached the peak, the hospitals are 50-60% occupied...also a very good sign!

Wow way to go Luci ! Greens that’s great ! Seems Luci and Salem are surfing together ! Salem finally went green again too . You think they know what’s going on stressed too ? Salem I know had been bouncing too but really high ! More than often that he usually does .. I say him and Luci are playing together ! Lol ! im glad things are getting better at the hospitals ! It’s still bad but much better ! Thank God people have opened there eyes !I’m glad DH caught Lucis sharks ! I wish my DH would help in the beginning he said he was !!:kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::eek: I knew there was no way he luvs Salem but hes OCD blood freaks him out I think especially for germs. It doesn’t scare him he gives blood it’s the germ thing I think that freaks him out ! He doesn’t do litter boxes either . My sister in law and I do the litter boxes at his mom and dads home . I always know who’s turn it was when my turn comes up when I see no litter boxes have been cleaned !

The LB is usually my job too...once in a while DH will do that...I'm just lucky he will test as often as she needs it! I'll take care of the LB - at least I can do that in the daytime! I'm not much of a night time gal...I go to bed early and get up early!

I dnt know I’m not tired now I got more sleep the last two night . I guess my misspellings are just me lol .. but I have noticed my allergies and my dry eyes have made my eyes bad . I’m suppose to use drops in my dry eyes three times a day . My vision changes with my dry eyes . I know excuses ! Lol

Maybe Costco should give some of the paper to grocery stores who are still out of it. Or have a sidewalk sale but limit quantity you can purchase. How about giving it to people who lost their jobs. Not everyone has membership, heck we don't even have a Costco.
 
I read an article that a customer wanted to return $10 000 worth of toilet paper he bought and the store refused to. The customer in question thought he could turn a quick buck by upping the prices of the TP online and selling it to desperate people but turns out the online selling venues were onto him sooner than later. I hope he doesn't mind eating toilet paper because now he has no money for food.

Yes, I too heard the stories about people who were buying up large quantities of things - the one I heard/saw on TV was some guy who'd gone and bought up every bit of hand sanitizer he could find - $18,000 worth of it...and then because laws were quickly put into place against price gouging such as he was planning to do - he was out of luck. Ended up donating it all to a church. He should have been ashamed of himself...I don't recall what state that was in...but people who do stuff like that...make me just shake my head - greed...and working so darn hard at it too! Anything to make money off of people in a desperate time. At least he was caught up with quickly! I have to wonder how many others got away with it...and still are possibly.
 
Have you noticed prices at walmart have gone up since the stimulus checks went out ? I had bought tension rods for $2.98 before the checks went out . I needed more but they have gone up to 4.99 for those tiny tensions rods there were only the 7/16 28 inch tension rods . So I went to roses got them for $2.50 . My daughter was coming over I told her come on over we are cooking hamburgers on the grill so she decided to get macaroni and cheese and Pork n beans to go with them which I already had . lol she came home fussed a quarter of macaroni and cheese in the deli cost over $8.00 and pork n beans for half a quart cost over $3.00 . Riduclous they will get away with most will
Anyways they cnt check everyone . Bad thing is employees are having to clean all day but they won’t get more pay for it . Some Walmart’s are taping off the non essentials items and you have to order those things on line so they can get them . I see the reason do not have to clean those isles but I had ordered in line so in case are Walmart had done it . So many people ordered things on line I couldnt get my things I shopped in the store and went outside until I couldn’t stand the heat no more so I went in asked if I could have my order ready so I could go home . They had so many orders she couldn’t see my order I had to show her on my phone my order . So she could search for it . I told her I only done it cause I didn’t want to get here and find out I couldn’t go down the isle . They said I could cancel it so I could go get it myself but the problem is you will have to repay again and wait for your refund for a couple of days . Luckily the girl was nice enough to go get my order since I waited so long . Usually they see your in the store you have the option to say I’m here complete my order but this wasnt happening this time . I guess cause she had so many orders . Roses is not taking returns until may 17 and now I see other stores are not taking returns either . I purchased the wrong size curtain rod so I had to go back and get another size . Since I could not return them or exchange them. Oh well . Roses is helping people they are cutting prices they are already cheap .
