Good morning!!

Leo’s been doing really well lately!! I caught him with BG’s of 50 twice in the past couple of days!! Just low enough to tease some sharks and drive me nuts thinking if only I had tested a half-hour earlier!! :rolleyes: Would I have caught him actually swimming in shark territory? Only he knows for sure and he’s not saying, no matter how many chin scritches he gets!! :rolleyes:

After waking up to an inch of snow yesterday, it really feels like spring today!! It’s sunny and the temperature is supposed to hit 44!! There are lots of geese and ducks swimming around in the creek behind our place and all 4 of the robin’s nests in the Virginia creeper vines growing up against the house have birdies moving in!!

I hope you are all healthy and safely sheltering at home with your fur babies!! :bighug:

Send some of that spring-like weather to us, please. We are in the midst of yet another white-out snow squall. But the lakes and rivers are free of ice and the Loons have returned. Yay!

Beautiful greens for Leo during the day and night cycles. I hope he surfs safely in the lagoon:D
 
That's our weather here. To cold yet to put bird bath out or hummer feeders. Next week is suppose to be this same weather. I planted 4 peony bulbs last fall. 7 peonies are coming up. Bleeding hearts are coming up.

Hope Leo has safe greens today.

Nice to see you Ella!! I think we’re having the same wacky weather as you, one minute the sun is shining and the next there’s a snow storm happening! Lake effect or something?? :rolleyes:
I hope the birds don't give up and head back south!! :eek:

We are too far north and east for it to be lake effect. But it is certainly part of this large weather system that just seems to be spinning around. We hiked on Wednesday in full winter gear (but substituted microspikes for snowshoes; trails were packed ice in many spots, muddy in other). I'm ready for spring!

Yup, it's snowing again right now!! :confused: Deff too cold for birdbaths unless it's a hot tub! :p I hope we don't have to wait too long to see pictures of your peonies and bleeding hearts!! :rolleyes:

Nice to have those little birdies around..:) I have many birds nests but they're in the cedar edge; I hear the birdies but don't get to see them; they're well hidden !! :)

Thanks Lyane!! The weather has changed 10 times since early this morning, (sun, snow, sun, snow etc...) mother nature can't make up her mind!! :rolleyes::joyful:
 
Oh Leo! Just gotta tippy toe right on the line, huh? Be careful there...don't want you falling in there and scaring those sharkies with your big bad self!

Crazy sounding weather there up north. Hopefully it won't last much longer...it's gotta be getting warmer soon...the sun is on it's way up there!
