I swear I had looked for that link!

I've been getting food into her. Just found out this morning that she takes it a whole lot better if I only hold her by the scruff. As soon as I try confining her in any way, or holding her head, she freaks out.

I've got 1 10ml syringe into her this morning already. Been splitting it in half with half hour between- she normally doesn't eat much at a time so don't want to push too much.

Assuming that is a 5.5 oz can that is 162 ml per day.
In Canada, where @majandra is, the only cans are 5.5 oz or 165 mg.

I had to feed multiple small meals too, about six times per day. With the HL foster, he too didn't like to be held, but he was very comfortable "hiding" inside my laundry basket. And it was still convenient for me to feed. Good luck!

Had to go back to the vet since she had started vomiting up everything. Got another shot of cerenia, and will be giving pills over the weekend. I'd bumped up her feeding to 2 syringes that evening and i think between that and nausea returning, it was too much. Yesterday I barely got anything into her. Today I'm doing 12ml every 2 hrs to see how that goes. I know it isn't going to get 165ml into her, but it doesn't matter if i get it all in for it to all come back up.

This is so frustrating and I just want my baby to get better. She goes back on monday for possible xray and bloodwork.

Rhubarb is needing a dental right away too. Vet gave her convenia to deal with the gingivitis until they were staffed better. Now I have to choose between saving my 6yo cat and hoping Rhubarb hangs in there a little longer with sore teeth, or cutting Mel's care down to do the dental.

Of course Mel had to need frequent hand feeding as soon as I finally get some work and now will have to book off. Sigh.
