@Olive & Paula thank you for the hugs and we send hugs and kisses as well. When I want to have a big smile I look at Olive's picture and Luci's cast movie running through the house with her belly up and instantly my day is lighter and sunnier (it helps in the rainy days like today).

I have some feelings that whatever Chanel has may not be necessarily food related. We are also coughing at night and I realized last night that the AC filter was not changed in several months. The yellow AMPS might be because we changed the new bedsheets with the old ones (coincidence or not, we put on the bed the new sheets the night before she started hitting the high BG values; my husband did not even want to sleep on them saying that it feels weird, but Chanel likes to sleep with me so she did sleep on the new sheets). She is still eating chicken but The Creatables that are chicken only and she seems fine. We found the HomeoPet Skin and Itch (homeopathic medicine) and I hope to see some improvement soon in her scratching-less :)
I am waiting for the new litter, we bought Pretty Litter that shows issues in urine.
@carfurby thank you Carla, I think the prayers are working :bighug:
@Judy and Freckles She is not back to her old self but better than previous days, at least BG-wise. I know she wants back in the blues because she looks at her toys but she is exhausted to play with them.
@Sue and Luci Thank you Sue, I think she is a little better. Not quite to were she was, but we are working towards that. I gave her the rabbit pate, she is like a kiddo seeing broccoli on a plate, so I really hope this is not a food allergy but more of an environmental one. Of course, that is even more challenging but hey, we do everything for our babies.
@Sonia & Leo Thank you Sonia for thinking of my baby. I will do my best in getting everything checked although there are so many things out there. It may be an allergy but Zyrtec does not do much. Meanwhile, she got the idea of NO when she is scratching (she has two symmetrical bald and bloody encrusted areas behind ears and scratching at them like nuts). Now, she is scratching when I am not around. I went to shower this morning and my husband told me she looked around to see where I am and then she started scratching. She stopped when she heard the door opening. I had no idea because the sneaky baby actually put her head down pretending to sleep :cat:

I hope everybody had a good Easter and funny moments in the kitchen. We eat these days and hey, it shows on the scale :banghead::woot::p

Sneaky kitty. She's so smart. I hope you figure out what is going on. Sending more prayers.

Rainy here also. Chanel is one smart kitty. Knows when your not around to scratch. Hope you figure some of it out.

I am hoping to find out what type of AC filter we have so I can change it. It was supposed to be changed but because of the virus, oh well. Now I am watching her like a hawk and of course she is taking a beauty nap. I broke my back getting the food from Petco in my apartment. She has so much of the old food that I wish she is not allergic to it, otherwise it will be a hellish joy to return it. We will see...Now the broccoli baby enjoyed some chicken and she is 225 at +5.5, not bad compared to last week. The allergy is not something to go away fast and she still has the bleeding areas behind her ears. One vet told me she is smarter than me, so I guess she needs a T-shirt saying 'I am with stupid' :)

Thanks for the report on Chanel! I do certainly hope you can get to the bottom of these allergy issues soon. Poor thing...other than getting a full on allergy spectrum test, I just don't know...process of elimination. Sometimes the strangest things is what they're allergic to...if it's environmental it'll be much more difficult to pin down...good luck to you as you work through this. She does seem to be awfully smart! Waiting until you're otherwise occupied to scratch! I've heard it all now...
