Hi everyone, so my kitty hasn't been doing that good with his blood sugar the last few days and I'm kind of worried and also feel like a huge failure to him..:(


He was doing SUPER good since January and now his bg levels haven't been normal within the last few days and I'm not sure why because he doesn't eat anything but fancy feast and I've even put him back on .25 dose and hes still higher than normal...I dont know what else to do for him but be by his side...I'm confused as to why his bg suddenly started getting high again. It definitely makes me sad and discouraged because he was doing so good. Any advice?

Sometimes numbers go a little higher in the first few cycle after an increase. We call it New Dose Wonkiness. It will pass.

How is Hendrix other than his blood sugar? He is more than just numbers.

Oh okay hopefully he will come down within the next few days. And hes doing good loves to play. Got him some new toys for Easter that he really enjoys. Thank you for asking.:)
 
His numbers may be running a bit higher than you'd like and it very well may be NDW. However, Hendrix's numbers are still pretty darn good!
