3/28 Walter AMPS 65 PMPS 411

If you're using the AT2 the 'take action' number is 68. I would hold, not feed, test again in 20. Let's see which direction that guy is going....

Unfortunately, I fed him because I was worried about the number— and he was acting more needy than usual (insisting on sitting in my lap etc.) which is what he sometimes does when things aren’t quite right.

Ok, well you can't take the food back, so now you'll need to test to see if he's come up. What did you feed him? Was it a higher carb than normal?

The thing is, if he comes up, it may most likely be due to the food bump...so you'll have to monitor more frequently to make sure he's not headed down once the food bump wears off...

I gave him his regular LC food. He’s at 104 now— and wants more food. I agree—the increase is probably a food bump. Maybe give him 1U or just skip.

Since his numbers seem to soar after a low, I'd be inclined to give him his insulin as long as you can monitor. He's climbing now, but that may not be the case in a couple of hours. Let him eat if he's hungry...he's a volatile little thing with his bounces...he may be setting up for a moonshot now...

Agree—and I’m not going anywhere so can definitely monitor. I saw your post about going biking —it sounds great! I hope you and Luci are doing well— have a good day!

Yep, headed out now...just getting to be enough daylight to see easily. Gotta beat the heat!

You can probably remove your question mark now...since you've got a plan for today. Best of luck to you and let's hope Walter doesn't go so high today..
