Looking for opinions on Smokeys numbers lately.

I would give Smokey some LC food and test at +2.5. You may want to keep testing to make sure numbers are in a safe range. Take a look at the sticky on handling low numbers.

How about a teaspoon or two of HC food? It's early in the cycle and numbers are dropping. You want to get the numbers up at bit. Hopefully, the HC will be enticing.

I gave him 6 pieces of the royal canine satiety treats .. should I give more ?

Test again now....hopefully the treats will have helped.
You should always try to have a few cans of HC food in the house like Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers for times like this. The gravy part is where most of the carbs are. What I'd do was pop the top, put it back and squeeze the gravy into another bowl and then use 1-2 teaspoons at a time until China was in safe numbers and holding them.

He eats gravy food on a regular.
But he doesnt want to eat it .
I just did high carb treats again . Going to test in 20 minutes

OK....at least he's not still dropping. Test again in 30 minutes
The bad part about using dry treats is that they take longer to break down and get into the bloodstream but if it's all he'll eat, that's all you can do!

Your new dose is 0.75 units. Whether you shoot or not depends on your ability to monitor (plus he could bounce). You have shot 111 before.
