These numbers give me anxiety every night!


Julie Smokey is starting to give you some lovely numbers.
Do you have an autofeeder? That may make you feel better if you had one of those that you could set to open at around +4 and +6 at night or if you are at work. Then you would know he is getting some food when the insulin is strongest and the BG most likely the lowest.

I would give him some ondansetron in case he is nauseated. That should work within around 1/2 hour.
For future reference it is better to give an antinausea first before giving an appetite stimulant.
Looks like you are almost up to +3. I’d get the +3 and see if he’ll eat for you then.
Then depending on the +3 BG maybe get a +5
Insulin does more than just counter carbs from food. If he's not feeling well, that can also raise the numbers.How is he still the same without eating ?
