Amps was 192 figured close enough to 200 to safely give his 2 unit dose. At +1 he was down to 124 so feed 1 teaspoon of MC and he ate some more of his LC food. Might also mention he had a good appetite this morning and at least 1/2 of a 5.5oz can before shot. So stayed up to see if what I had done would steer the BG up a bit since early in cycle. +2 tested he is now down to 67 should I give more MC or head to the HC food. I've also posted in the Prozinc forum. Going to test meter on myself have never had this happen before and have shot lower

I'd give some food to slow things down. If you opt for HC, use a teaspoon or two and retest in 30min.

I really want to encourage you to get PM tests despite what the PMPS is. What you're seeing this morning is a bounce breaking. It might have been good to know that was happening last night. Likewise, just because you have an ugly pre-shot number doesn't mean that the nadir was high. My kitty was notorious for starting a cycle in the 400s, dropping to the 40s, and being back in the 400s by the next shot time. If I hadn't been testing, I would have increased the dose when I needed to give a dose reduction.

Patty works night shift, and leaves for work right after she has done the AMPS cycle +11 test. That is the last test she can get until she gets home from work. And some nights, she works a 12 hour shift. Then there is the additional drive time home, and we want her to keep herself safe on that drive home and not get into a car accident.

Her husband will give the shot, but most of the time he can not test either, due to his work schedule.

She is doing the absolute best she can with her difficult work schedule, more often than not, shorting herself on sleep - constantly. She only gets told her work schedule a few days in advance. Plus, she can get called in at the last minute to work. That is the reality for her.

Patty, Juls and I know you are doing the absolute very best you can for Teal'c. You are "the best" thing that every happened to Teal'c. Don't ever forget that hon.

Stay safe Teal'c. I'm headed off to work myself for a few hours.
