? 3/7 Zhoom Boy - question about food

Zhoom and I had a great day at the lagoon yesterday! We are on a bounce now. Hoping to clear it soon!

Zhoom has a very very sensitive belly. He had a bite of our other kitty Zuki's food a week or so ago and threw up for a couple days from it. I have been feeding him Rawz Rabbit Pate and it is the best food for him that I have found so far. Unfortunately, the company is supposedly changing their canning and all the suppliers are sold out! Oh No!! There is one supplier that might have the Rawz Rabbit and Pumpkin which I thought I would try as the only additional ingredient seems to be pumpkin. I am looking into the carbs on this food and am not sure which analysis I should be looking at - the carb content is as follows:

as fed - 2.26%
dry matter - 9.42%
dry matter (energy corrected) - 8.24%

Would this food still be considered low carb food?

Thanks

Anything under 10% is low carb.

Have you ever considered buying frozen rabbit and cooking it at home yourself? Sometimes kitties with tender tummies do better on simple diets...

There are supplements you can buy when you feed raw or home prepared foods (they contain taurine and other essential ingredients for kitties)...

That might be a good idea for Zhoom. Thanks.
