Day light savings time

Sorry to ask this I’m a little confused and need to know if this makes sense :)

my kitties current shot times are 10:23am/10:23pm

would his shot times be:

tonight I would give him his shot at 10:08pm then tomorrow morning I’d give him his amps shot at 9:53am and PMPS shot at 9:38pm.

then by Sunday morning he could be back at 10am/10pm? (The new time)

Sorry if that’s confusing or I’m wrong I just don’t want to mess up his shot times. Daylight savings confuses me as I’ve never had to deal with feline diabetes during it. :bighug:

Thank you!

You can look at my SS to see if my timing helps you.

I've already started backing up in 15 minute increments...On Sunday morning 5:30 will become 6:30...

Just write your times on your SS - and back up by 15 minutes each time (AM and PM)...

Hope that helps...

Your times look good. Most cats don’t respond too severely with the time change. I got to the point of not even adjusting and just going with the new time and I didn’t see a big difference.

Eta : as the stickie on Daylight Savings Time says, if your kitty is earning reductions, you do need to regard shooting at Amps +11 on Sunday morning. But , with a kitty as regulated as yours and on such a low dose, I wouldn’t sweat it to much with your times if you are one hour late as far as the new time goes on Sunday.

Okay thank you :) so if his current shot time is at 10:30am I would give it to him at 11:30am on Sunday?

Hi sue! Hope you had a good day. Thank you for your advice. I may just give it to him an hour later on Sunday incase I get confused or sleep in by accident :)

That’s what I would do. The last time we had to move ahead that Bubba was on insulin, I just shot at the new time. If you want to go back to 10:30 a and 10:30 pm you can move your shot time back to 10:30 by shooting 30 mins earlier Sunday night and then again on Monday night or you can move it earlier by 15 minutes each cycle .
