So im thinking of maybe going to a small 1.50 tomorrow morning if he is still very high at amps?

He is being super fussy with his food. Seems hungry but isnt interested in eating. Just an example his breakfast portion he can eat and snack on until noon. I know he is bouncing but he had a nice 178 today and a terrible 500 at pmps.

Im just super discouraged as no dose seems to be working for Garfield

That test for ketones is negative.. always good to get!
Are you sure Garfield is not nauseated? He might need some cerenia for nausea. If you don’t have any I would ask the vet for some.
I would not increase the dose yet. Garfield is still bouncing. They can wobbly up and down during the bounce. And you got a 37.8 only 2 days ago with the higher dose.

How would I know he is nauseated?

He meows from 6 am to 7am because he is hungry (breakfast time) and when I put his food in front of him he sniffs and walk away. But if I add forti flora then he will gladly eat it . So annoying. Im following him around in the house with his darn bowl

Is he bouncing tonight from the fact he dropped fast today ? Or from the other nights 37.8/honey fiasco?

Sniffing and walking away from food is a classic sign of nausea.

Just under 100 points from+3 to +6 isn’t a fast drop. If it had happened in 1 hour it could trigger a bounce.
Try not to be discouraged. You are getting some lovely green numbers. Garfield loves to bounce which can be frustrating.

Bounces don't always go straight up and then come straight down...they can also wobble....so the 500 tonight could be some of both the low number the other night and the quick drop today. Dropping 200 points in 3 hours is a pretty fast drop.

Garfield is one of "those kitties"....the ones that make you want to scream!

My girl was bouncing horribly and I was getting super impatient. It will resolve and settle down, but some kitties bodies seem to really love being in panic mode. At least with some good numbers he isn't staying in the 500s all day so good things are happening, just not all at once.
