Hi all, Yoshi has been doing well on the 6u. Last night I tested him at +4 and he was 64. I waited about a minute or two and retested and he was at 80. Can BG go up that quickly? Did he earn a reduction?

I gave MC and went to bed. I thought I would wake up in the night to test again but no dice.

He was 176 this am. I had MC (12%) out all night, so I think that's what did it.

Gave a skinny 6 this am. @Wendy&Neko, thoughts?

Since you're using the AT2 Yoshi has earned a reduction! congrats!

Well, either way you slice it...there was a number under the threshold with the AT2...better take that reducie to play it safe.

I see your point, a third test would be needed to really ensure you KNEW he didn't go below 68. I guess in this case it would be your own call. Based on his recent numbers are you comfortable to keep the dose the same? or are you nervous? Like Sue, I also would take a more cautious approach, but you definitely know Yoshi best

Agreed, take the reduction and take him down to 5.5 units. Don't bother skinnying when he is over 3 units dose.

And since Yoshi has shown he likes to visit the deep end of the lagoon, I would try everything possible to make sure you are getting those second tests for those PM cycles. I see a couple blank spots in the SS lately. Gotta keep our acrobuddies safe.

Me too. Of course I gave a fur shot of all fur shots last night and he’s pink this am. I feel so bad. I hope the depot fills back up quickly.
