2/24 Disco Drops, see thread! +11 39/+12 75/+12.5 78/AMPS 105/+1 189/+11 449/PMPS 321

Glad to see you were able to shoot. FYI: if you shot at +13.5, that is actually your AMPS. Whenever you stall, the time at which you actually shoot becomes your AMPS. Your PMPS is due 12 hours later. If you like, you can start walking the PM shot time back by 15 min at each shot time or by 30 min once a day.

Normally LC above 50 and HC only below 50. But maybe a higher % of LC if he is dipping fast (when above 50).
Where did this come from? It is not an accurate statement.

arrgh, another one from me? teri is feeding him LC at +8/+9/+10 to keep him from crashing at the end of the cycle. we were discussing that he probably needs higher carbs (within the LC range) to keep him from going low around shot time. that's what i meant. was that inaccurate?

OK, I'm back! Sorry for disappearing at the critical time (I am at work and had a meeting to go to, eek!).

Great job shooting! I see on the spreadsheet you shot 2.5 again. Disco has earned another reduction with another drop into the 30's; shooting 2.5 was fine this morning (sometimes we do that deliberately, calling it "shooting through the bounce"), but I think you should take the reduction to 2.25 tonight.

No apology needed--gotta pay the bills by working! Yes, that is what another member, Si am cat mom said, but glad to 'hear' it from you, too!

I am not sure why this confounds me so much, in my mind I go round and round trying to figure out how to label the test time and what column to put it in, even though many have given me instructions, sigh. I feel like it's kinda like trying to knot a tie in the mirror! Thanks for explaining in this way, maybe it'll soak in this time. I'll fix the SS.

I see Disco was up to it again. :banghead: Did you feed that 70 last night? If so, how much and what carbs? If now, how long before that did he last eat? Still thinking about if that late cycle feeding needs tweaking to prevent the preshot drama. Dsco seems to love the attention.

Saw that +2, I am super glad you managed to shoot today. As for shot times, some people put a time column before their Units column of the spreadsheet, to keep track of actual times. I just wrote it in my notebook.

Yep, I fed the 70s and he got Sheba Purrfect Portions Pate about 2 teaspoons and it’s 3% carbs.I am super glad I managed to shoot today too! Do you want to wager a bet when I just got at his +5.5? 400! What does that tell you?

Disco wants the title of Rainbow King.

Maybe next time the +10 is low you should try a couple tsps of 8-10% carbs. Feel like a scientist in the lab yet?
I just got back from Walmart with a smorgasbord of Sheba Purrfect Portion Cuts in Gravy, average carbs 13%. Now, will that falsely elevate his BG? From what I understand, the carbs would have worn off by time for AM/PMPS, correct?
