His BG is at 86 after 30 min(no food). I’m not sure why it’s rising so fast I gave him the smallest smallest bit of gravy but I didn’t think it would rise that fast from it. So I won’t do that again.

Do I have to retest him later on? Say maybe a +7 or +8?

Hope that gravy doesn't mess with the numbers- We'll both know better for next time! I was trying to avoid a reduction and read in your notes where he got HC and caro at (67) before and it didn't seem to inflate him as much..figured a smidge of MC would be okay :facepalm: :confused:

The high carb food food you fed will wear off and the BG could drop, so I would get a test in maybe an hour or 2 just to be sure.

that’s okay. And I hope it doesn’t either but it shouldn’t too much! I’m sure he will be fine. And he had a reduction a few days ago from .50 to .25

I’m not sure if you can go lower than .25 or not. I guess I just found out that he could be carb sensitive I guess lol. And yeah that was my fault!! I’ve given him syrup before when I really shouldn’t have because I got freaked out. I was so used to seeing high numbers and when I started to see lower ones i got scared. I don’t give him syrup now unless someone tells me too I always ask for advice now before giving him anything really, just in case. Thank you for you help. It means a lot!!
 
+6@94 going to feed and going to lay back down for a bit afterwards. Should I set an alarm for another test??

Buzzy had a similar surf to this one yesterday :) it was a little anxiety-inducing for me too, but it's actually very close to "the goal" (i.e., 'a normal cat' lol).
