Actually didn't know she had one. Only day before test she kept going in and out of box. The vet thinks Ollie might have chronic irritation or cystitis. She always has blood in it and this time even though (repeat test) it was a clean catch there was more blood than before.

Oh so sorry:bighug: I did not know either and the hospital did not treat her for it because the results were posted on Tuesday and she was discharged Sunday night SOO my little one has been suffering for almost a week now:( Was Ollie in a lot of pain and having spasms??? It is soo upsetting to watch our little ones suffer:(Healing and prayers for her being sent:bighug::bighug::bighug:

I did not notice spasms. Her insulin shots have been bothering her a few times, but that's it. Thought maybe I was shooting to low on her sides. The UTI was picked up because she was having kidney panel done and routine UA. Otherwise I would not have known.

She was on Orbax AB for 21 days. Vet believes, and I have read, but don't know for sure that diabetics should receive longer course of ABs than normal because they are immunosuppressed.

I am glad she did not have spasms. Dr. Pickering told me they are from her being in soo much pain:( Still waiting for her Meds
