Ravan's BG came down last night but now he's higher than ever. This is so frustrating!
Several weeks ago when he went high I was sure he had an infection or his Kidneys were getting worse. I had Lab work done & was surprised that everything was OK . Some of his values were even better than they had been. Vet said everything looked great.

It's so expensive for the lab work. Not sure what to do this time.

What's going on with little Ravan ?? Anything new since the last week of January ? (food, meds, supplements, old insulin pen, a change in the house..) Teeth OK?
Hope he's eating well and gets back to his good old numbers ! :bighug:

Everything appears "normal" He's eating good (back on his regular Raw diet) Peeing & pooping OK.

He was checked & had Lab work about 3 months ago. Vet said every thing,including his teeth ,looked great. The Blood test was better than the one before.

He went up to 327 last 12/2 but after about 2 cycles came down.

Any thoughts on what might cause his BG to go up like this?
 
The odd for Ravan numbers coincide with the dose increase. I might get a couple spots checks at different times than your usual to see if there is an explanation. Specially around onset, wondering if he’s dropping hard enough at onset to cause a bounce.

The reason for the "regular times " for the BG test is Ravan gets me up at that time & I've been following his lead. In the past he was very persistent waking me up when his BG dropped LOW.

For several months he's been very opposed to me poking his ears. I'm doing it the least I can to comply with his wishes :rolleyes::)
