Nelli update...
Nelli is sporting a Valentine hat today for Felix (@Susan&Felix)... she thinks it’s kinda dorky .

Little Miss Nelli… She has been since mid December (& keeps reminding me of her party)– tonight is the night I input data into her SS .
I test her probably more often than necessary- every few days sometimes once every day. She has been testing out with lows in the low 60s, High end in the low 100s; consuming kibbles every day .

She has early stage III CKD, one of the most important things I’ve learned is that a kitty has to, has to eat no matter what it is they eat.
Darwin Intelligent Design (kidney)low in P, over last couple weeks is clearly bothering her stomach when she eats it to extent she will not touch anymore .
In order to get her to eat Ive been feeding about 1/3 cup dry Farmina Digestion Kibble‘s in about 1/4 cup raw goats milk. Feline Natural Chicken & Lamb Feast Grain-Free Freeze-Dried inraw goat milk. Raw filet mignon. Raw chix thighs. This makes up her daily diet. BG numbers not affected!?
Recently put her back on Antinol and 12u SubQ Bupe (every 3-4 days).
I am having her labs done next week to check the P (primarily).

I’ve been keepin an eye on that little girl of yours . Do you think... I’ll bet she dips down into blue territory mid day, often?

I’d much rather be working day and night keeping Nelli BG regulated, than standing by- feeling almost helpless as her little kidneys fail .
Everything is going to be ok... just the way God planned it .
I guess none of us live forever? Yup :-|

Nelli LoVeS Farmina kibbles... I’d switch her around between Rad Cat (http://www.radfood.com/blog/the_rad_cat_fda_experience.en) & Farmina digestion (she had little belly aches was how kibbles first came into her life) before she became diabetic.
I continued to give her seven kibbles on top of some raw food or in the goats milk while she was on the h juice- It was like a treat... seven little kibbles I thought couldn’t do that much damage.
Maybe if you try 7 or less Farmina kibble on top of the YA she be hApPy !?!
See if this won’t have n effect on BG numbers?

Hi Susan, We’ve been away for some time... Felix has been on my mind (Nelli too ).
How is sweet little Felix doing?

Felix's respiratory rate seems to be creeping up again, so we may have another round of med adjustment and follow-up bloodwork coming up. Ugh. But he's of good cheer, with a good appetite and lovin' the snuggles.

He's often with his phone in his paws, texting away. I assume it's usually with his FDMB friends, especially Nelli. We hope she's feeline all right and eating her food. And although I'm proud of her for being such a good purrvider, I hope she's not continuing to bring Mommy her catch-of-the-day!

Yes it’s real! What is most amazing (let alone her age, 21 ) is that she is 100% blind and hits the juggler vein spot on . Did I post the video of her crunch, crunch... beheading it? That video is a trip!
The bonnet was too small for her little head :-|-
She was such a trooper though... very excited, (actually) to wear for Felix .
I see your little young man is looking dOWn at 4?
Hope you are both doing well- it must be frustrating and much work to get those pokes! Do you think it may have turned into somewhat of a game for him?!?

I would contact her. She was willing to make a memorial for Max but I never did it.
