Handsome & Momma Need Lantus Dosing Help

Hi everyone! (My apologies if the title isn't right)

We are currently in the middle of a curve today. He has had 3 yellows in the last 24 hours. Tmrw would be the next .25 increase so I am hopeful someone can advise on what dose to do?

We've made a ton of mistakes, the first being that we listened to our vet. Very grateful for this and the FB groups.

We appreciate any advice or suggestions anyone may consider sharing.

Finally -- a bit of yellow in Handsome's numbers!!!

Unless Handsome tells you otherwise, I'd suggest raising his dose tomorrow. With SLGS, you hold the dose for a week, do a curve, and if numbers aren't where you want them, raise the dose by 0.25u.

I've started with 2.5U this morning ( .25 increase). I'm so upset with myself tho, I slept right thru my alarms last night so I missed the last two curve numbers. I'll try again this evening.

So I need to start another new thread with a diff title or will this one work? I don't want to clog up the area when others need help too.
