I was holding off on increasing her dose in case the recent high numbers were a bounce from 1/30 low numbers that night. I was told it can take six cycles to clear a bounce. It's been six cycles. I know she needs more insulin, what I don't understand is how she can have great numbers, need reductions, then sky rocket back to 300s. I know it's part of having diabetes, but yesterday I was told she's getting too little carbs. I was thinking finally i'm doing things right, then bam! Once again, i'm doing things wrong. So, now what? I feel like I have to start over. Please read the comments from yesterday. I posted a couple pictures of the food i'm feeding her (FF pate seafood and beef and poultry 0-3 carbs) and the food I was thinking about switching her to (FF flaked ect 4-6 carbs) I never got a response as to whether or not this was a good decision. I want to make sure she's getting enough carbs before I increase her dose so she isn't consistently getting reductions before she's actually ready for them...Please help me decide what to do next
