Yes, yesterday was a busy day - I'm still in recovery mode and DH finally went to urgent care and has pneumonia.

I have to get going super early to do a couple of errands and it was pouring rain - which was better because it keeps the crowds down (if you're not familiar with SW Florida 'in Season' it's a nuthouse. I typically will not go out during mid-day from now until March 31 - the traffic is unbearable, the stores are crowded, parking is difficult at best...it's like a crazy pre-Christmas holiday for a couple of months...lots of people here for a short time and they never stay home apparently...

This morning as I was brushing my teeth, I caught a whiff of a god-awful sewer smell - turns out Miss Luci had stepped in her poo in the LB and got it caught on her cast - OMG - STINKO!!! :facepalm:o_O:blackeye: So she's laying in my shower stinking up the place - good spot - I got a cloth and took care of the stinky cast mess - then fortunately because she was in the shower was able to bleach and clean that stinky mess up fairly easily. I was just thankful that she didn't decide to lay on the bed or sofa - god forbid I would have been scrubbing the life out of that all day...:p

I hope you all have a wonderful and stress-free day. I'll be wringing my hands about DH and he's not one to be hovered over when he's sick....so I may go out to lunch/shopping with my sis in laws later today - we're not SB fans - and everyone seems obsessed with that now - and being in South Florida - although on the other side of the state seems to put it in our backyard - crazy!

Sending special prayers to @Jill & Scooter - please send them both some hugs and hope for better news for little Scooter.:bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
I think your morning was more fun then mine...if it's not one end it's the other.
Sorry about your husband with pneumonia, wonder if you had it too? Praying he recovers soon.
Have fun on your outing today.

I'm not a sports fan either but it's all I hear and see being so close to the game.

Hope Luci is feeling better too:)
 
Poor Luci - she had to get close to you to let you know what happened!!! My elderly dad had pneumonia, and is finally good again; thankfully never had to be hospitalized. Best wishes for you and your DH to heal heal heal. I first got sick over 3 weeks ago, and still have deep chest coughs at night. I never went to the doctor to prove what I had, but flu is my guess (had fever for two weeks). Pneumonia can take so long to completely recover from. Drink, rest. Repeat.

Enjoy this Sunday in any way you can! Sorry you are being invaded down there!!

Poor Luci! I'm sure she was as unhappy about it as you were!
A few days before Boomer passed he had an accident. He has never ever peed or pooped anywhere except his lb.....well he must have been sound asleep or perhaps he tried to get up and couldn't...idk but he had peed on the bed pillows were he had been laying. Not our bed luckily but the spare bed. He had moved when I found it but he was looking very sad and upset and wondering whether he was in trouble. Of course I told him it was ok, accidents happen, and cleaned him up then the bed.
 
Wherever ya go you need to take the good with the bad. Beautiful warm weather but way too crowded :arghh:

Years ago I had Strep Pneumonia & ended up in Hospital a week on oxygen. :( Hope DH feels better & you also.

So sorry to hear of your husbands pneumonia, that is so tough, I hope he can get better soon!

What a sin about poor Luci's cast, even though she has had the cast for so long I NEVER thought about Litter box issues that would be associated with it. I'm glad you discovered it before it was more of a mess.
