MeWowZa! Starting Disco’s 6th cycle on his dose increase and we made it to the ocean! Of course, now he’ll bounce but hopefully his BG’s will smooth out so i can finally make it to the Tiki Hut for a Meowjito or a Mewtini! Photo of Disco & Coco finding a sun puddle yesterday.

That blue means hanging onto the dose a little longer.

Has anyone told you about the value of the +2 test? If you see a +2 (or even +3 like last night) is quite a bit lower than preshot, it’s a sign of an active cycle that could use more monitoring. On a typical Lantus cycle, the +2 is similar to the preshot value. On a bounce or quiet cycle like today, that +2 is higher. Note, the +2 works for most cats on Lantus, didn’t for mine. I needed a later test as my “heads up”.

@Wendy&Neko I do recall reading about what to do if the +2 or +3 was lower than pre-shot and am glad you put it into your reply and I’ve added it to my condensed notes.

Thanks for noticing the picture being sideways sometimes when I upload a picture on my phone is so small I don’t pay attention I’ll go fix that. Yes it’s a photo of just going Coco laying on my brothers bed in the one spot of sunlight it comes into my house
