Good morning Beth, I knew you were going to say that, as soon as I took his BG and saw 94 I said to myself Beth will say see back to double didgit lol. Elmo you better behave also, no funny business:cat:

Hi Sue, every time I test him he thinks he's going to get a snack, no way, trying to get him to loose some weight, so when he won't shut up I get a can of air freshener and show it to him and just shake it back and forth and he takes off, he's afraid of it lol I'm a bad mom lol

Could he have a little tiny snack of freeze dried salmon or chicken? Very low calorie - pure protein...just a thought :)

I really don't think he would eat that, when I do give him a snack through the day it's only about 1 tablespoon of the Fancy Feast Classic Pate Chicken or the beef. The chicken is only 99 calories per can and the beef is 92 calories per can.
He probably only eats about 2 cans per day so its only about 198 calorie a day maybe a little more. Its just that he's lazy, always been, eats and then goes and lays down on his back with legs spread open lol and is so content. I try to play with him and get him to run, that might last 5 minutes. He just isn't that active so my vet said he's probably not burning the calories. He now weighs 20 lbs, was 23 so lost 3 lbs so far.He is a big cat though but still over weight. His brother Perry is just the opposite very active.
Tyler is just a big blob lol

I do but I'm so low/no tech I do t know how to put them on here . He use to sleep on his back like a Tyler with his feet curled up and his tail up between his back legs ... hadn't done that in months til a few weeks ago when I found him on his back ❤️ About caused me to cry :bighug:

My little sweetheart Perry, Tyler's brother, he has kidney disease, but thank god it's been stage 2 for years now, also takes meds for seizures 5 times a day, hasn't had one in about 10 months now knock on wood. Oh and he also takes Cerenia once a day. They were so horrible to watch, I would get weak when he would have one. Perry is the one that loves me like crazy, not that Tyler doesn't, but Perry is different, my little boy. I feel like a nurse all I do is give meds out. Soon they will probably be on medical marijuana lol

Aww thanks Beth, and like I told you I just love that face of Elmo's. If you use a tablet and have pics on it I can tell you how to put them up over the weekend.
Not a bad day for Elmo today, I'm happy
Have to go give Perry his meds now, but I will be on later:bighug:
