He seems really good in spite of his ongoing issue with diarrhea.
He was AMBG=90 and alert and waiting for me at the top of the stairs this AM for me to start the day!
He is not frantic about food anymore, and he does not clean his plate - he grazes. If anything he has become quite finicky. This could be, in part, because we give him small meals in between his main ones (which we never did in a consistent way until a couple of weeks ago).
The diarrhea is extremely troubling - since he has had it for months. We have tried non-pharm treatments but they have had no effect - probiotics, s. boulardii, pumpkin, etc. Our Vet (remember his is our new vet - only for the last month) is has prescribed Metronidazole because his thinks it could be bacterial. I worry this could affect the trial, but we have to get this treated. So fingers crossed that this doesn't screw up his numbers and actually makes him whole and healthy!
