Good morning,
Boomer spent the night on the duvet at the end of our bed. At one point he did walk up beside me; I reached out and petted him a couple of times but he didn't stay....went back to the end of the bed.

Yesterday I had trouble getting Boomer to eat. Would have to try several foods and might eventually find one that he nibbled a bit. This had actually started on Thursday. Even after cerenia/mirtz yesterday I still had the same trouble getting him to eat. The liver shake I had in the fridge was several days old so DH went out for a couple of the ingredients and I made up a fresh batch. Took some over to where he was laying, I was prepared to syringe, but he drank it! YAY! So he had some more before bedtime. This morning he had a bit of food and then some liver shake.

We're currently under a rainfall warning...the words "catastrophic" and "historic" have been used to forewarn us since it's supposed to change to massive amounts of freezing rain at some point. :eek::eek::eek:.

Today's photo was taken back in the fall and is a Downy Woodpecker!

:bighug: Gotta love good ole livershake :bighug: Encouraging that Boomer ate it on his own ! When mine are off their food I’ll offer /syringe it up to 6x a day . Sending more prayers :bighug:

It's a good thing I have a strong stomach because making it is :p:p:p especially when I have to get it for him in the middle of the night.
I've been trying to stick to his normal snack times which have been every 3 hours for the last few years. If he's sound asleep though I'll leave him alone.
 
Wow! I'm so glad he likes the liver shake and ate some!! I'm with you, just the name makes me shudder, but Boomer likes it, and that's what counts!!!

It's been raining quite heavily here for the past couple of hours and there's lots of accumulated water in the depressions on the lawn. I hope the water drains off the roads before it freezes tonight.
What a cute face on that woody!!

It's been raining here too but just rain so far. Oh...a bit of thunder a few minutes ago. DH went out to run an errand and he said there's a bit of water accumulation on some of the streets. Will make for wonderful skating rinks later on :rolleyes: glad I don't have to go anywhere.
 
I, too, had to really force myself to make the liver shake when Minka wasn't eating. I gagged all the way through. As it turns out, so did she. She couldn't tolerate it. :(

I'm so glad Boomer doesn't have that issue. It sure is good for them.

I haven't been on in a while so missed Amy's tag last week. FWIW, I did use baby gas drops for Harvey when he was having an issue with gas (on my vet's recommendation). It seemed to help.
