Cute Moey, get those greens back !
You know I really am starting to think that the homemade food is keeping his #s elevated. I made a fresh batch last night so, he got to indulge post PMPS. I think I'm seeing a trend. Strange how chicken and E-Z complete could be the culprit:oops::rolleyes: ECID I suppose. So much for trying to provide better food:confused: Weruva is next on the list of foods to try:)

Interesting that he gets so nice and low at the 'ends' of the cycle...so you think it might be related to withholding the foods? You could experiment with different foods...obvious I suppose...see what happens...

I sure hope it's as easy as that to figure out....I'd love to figure out why Luci always has to run up that darn lemon tree twice a day - just like it's her spot...and she's going there no matter what I do...

Yeah I think those lows at the end are from withholding food.
An interesting confirmation, that the homemade food is bumping his #s up more than I'm accustomed to seeing: He was fed homemade for brekky, post AM test(10:20am) and lunch +2(12:30pm). Everything fed after 12:30pm was Dr. Elsey's LC.

That's the game plan for now. The DH is picking up a couple of cans of Weruva. We'll see how Moey does with it.
I like Dr. Elsey's ALOT but, am beginning to think the egg is causing some "allergies". I've stopped giving the E-Z yolk additive too...thinking sensitivities/allergies. The boys are getting itchy/yeasty ears again, which happened when I initially switched to wet food(Friskies) from dry. The common ingredient is eggs. Ittle is starting to over groom a little too. IMO everything points to a sensitivity. The homemade food contains egg yolk as well, contained within the E-Z complete supplement. It might just end up being an occasional snack for the dog:p as not to waste 2lbs of chicken! Or keep it frozen for emergency "higher" LC food. Moey loves it sooo much, it's a shame I can't keep him on it:arghh:
I hope you can figure Ms. Luci out. She likes to remain mysterious. No rhyme or reason...she must love her "sunrises and sunsets" with those yellow tones!
Have a great evening Sue!

How interesting.. I'm trying to switch food for Ti... I'll have to look at this tomorrow.
I'm at the vet right now for a cat who was on our balcony bleedi g like hell with a big hole in his cheek..
Poor little thing in surgery now.

Tina is pro-Paw Lickin' Chicken (3.9% carb dry matter basis), and the Frick A Zee is about half that in carbs, but she doesn't like it at all. You cannot ever tell your cats the health benefits of any new food! We have one can left of the Dr. Elseys clean protein chicken (2% I think). I used to feed that at +8 to get lower preshots. It's a little higher in phosphorus though, so I usually feed the Weruva. Maybe Tina is extra carb sensitive, but I saw a nice difference in feeding 2 and 4%. I'm sorry about the EZ complete not working out and potentially causing an allergic reaction. You are a good fur mom you know:):bighug:
