Ravan had his 7th seizure at 8:45 PM lasted about 20 seconds It nearly always happens in the rec room between 8:30 PM and 9PM

He shows no sign that it's coming. He's laying quietly next to me & suddenly starts shaking his head & the seizure starts. I feel there's some connection to the time of night & maybe where he's at.
It just seems strange that it always happens near the same time & place.

That is odd. Is there anything in the room he could be reacting to....candles, oil essences, etc?
 
Any lights, TV, or sound on at that time? I never did experience seizures in a cat, sorry, can't help with that.

I am not sure about cats, but when I worked in veterinary medicine there was a neurologist who felt that animals could have hormonal triggered seizures based on where their levels were in relation to their circadian rhythm. Women actually have seizures that are set of by their menstrual cycles and progesterone levels. It was not uncommon for epileptic dogs to have seizures around the same time of day- although I do think it was early morning ( waking hours). Sometimes you can adjust their medication dosing times to circumvent these episodes , but not always. We used to ask owners to keep a seizure log and then you can look for patterns. You can try moving the pet to another place and seeing if the seizure still occurs around the same time, with the same intensity.
Sorry ...I know it is hard to watch them having episodes.

Once he had a seizure in the kitchen but all the others were in the Rec room laying next to me, between 8:30 & 9:30 pm. They started on Oct 24th 2018, the next one was Jan 21 2019 ( 3 months apart ), 3rd one Feb 24 (4 weeks apart ) 4th Aug 18th ( 6 months apart) 5th Oct 23 (2 months apart) Nov. 12 (3 weeks apart) & Jan 2 2020 (6 weeks apart) The only pattern I see is they usually come at the end of the month & near the same time & place. As you can see I wouldn't know when to move him

I stopped using candles & essential oils a long tome ago, over 20 years, I only use white vinegar & water for cleaning No other cleaning products in my house . I even stopped weed killer & fertilizer on the grass about 5 yrs ago.

The TV is on, no lights so it's dark in the room except for the TV.The sound is turned low on the TV, He's always laying next to me ,very peaceful when the seizure starts.

They started back in October of 2018 about 8 months after he started getting insulin. After the first seizure the next one wasn't for 3 months. He's getting 2 drops of CBD oil maybe I need to increase it.

Thanks for the suggestions but I'm bewildered why this is happening. Poor boy got a lot going on. Diabetes,Kidney disease ,High blood pressure & seizures. I've never had a cat with so many problems. It's overwhelming to have 5 cats get sick one right after the other. Peggy Sue was the 4th one to die in 4 years. All from the same litter .Alice was a little stray kitten I took in 2 weeks before I rescued the 5 kittens.
