1-1-20(Yesterday) Good afternoon! I hope everyone has a wonderful day. Kitties be good for your Beans

So, I messed up BIG time last night. Fell asleep without giving Moey his 10:30pm dose. Woke up at 1am in a panic so, I went ahead and shot him. Now it's gonna take 5 days to get back to our normal shot timeThank goodness my schedule is free enough that it's not a problem moving him back day by day.

Don't be hard on yourself. Stuff happens. Moey will get back on track. That's not a bad start for a late shot. I once found a syringe with insulin in it the next day and didn't know if I'd missed the AM or PM shot.

If I did not set up an alarm for the shots, the medications and the BG tests, I would forget 1/2 of them!!!

Oh I hear you on the forgetting part - I have multiple alarms that I set for all of those reminder! I get caught up with work and absolutely cannot believe that an hour or two has passed - and Luci needs a test! Or worse - she needs her shot!!! I've done the test, and then set her in the pantry to eat her dinner - and never gave the darn shot! Realized that she was still in the pantry -eating!! So, now I set an alarm to test, and another to give her the shot..and then some more to remind me to test...one to get up one to sit down...LOL! I get distracted easily...what can I say???

It happens...get yourself some more timers - set your phone alarm to remind you to set the other alarms..it's a crazy business this FD!
