The .25 dose is doing less and less for her. This cycle they haven't even moved!

Could this really be an overdose? That she should not have insulin at all? (the advise to take her off was given on Facebook - see previous thread) Is there anything in her chart and the way her numbers are looking indicating this is the case?

The numbers are moving less and less the further away from the .5 we shot we get (I shot one .5 dose a few days ago). Could it be the depo from that wearing off?

I'm so in doubt. To up her, or take the insulin away.

This is no good! She is starving, and I worry about such high numbers for too long. Next shot should be the 6th cycle on this dose.

I'd appreciate any help and guidance. I am really lost! :(

I think it's time to go up to .5 after the 6th cycle unless she really pulls something crazy on the 6th cycle.

I don't see anything that worries me that she's being overdosed.

Have you read the 2 different dosing methods and decided on one? Either Tight Regulation or Start Low, Go Slow? It will make a difference in our advice.

I hate to tell you this, but on your 2020 spreadsheet, it's populated with 2019 dates ;)

Oh, you are right! I think I sorted it. Thank you

I'm the impatient type, and can monitor Kitty 24/7, so we are going TR again.

Then you so much for your input. You helped us through this about a year ago as well ❤️

I agree with Chris -- it's time to increase the dose.

I'm also tagging @Marje and Gracie. I don't think you're using an incorrect spreadsheet template. There is no tab for the 2020 US data. And, FWIW, most of us are in the US and need the spreadsheet in numbers we use (i.e., mg/dL).

@Chris & China (GA) - I think you were looking at the 2019 tab. The 2020 tab is the 2nd tab and it needs to be moved to the far left.

I do struggle getting that spreadsheet right. Last year I got help from someone here to get it right. This year I have messed about on my own, and it obviously didn't work out quite right lol.

What can it mean that she is higher now on 0.25 than she was even before starting insulin a week ago?

Could that be a sign she should not be on it? Say, if the infection has cleared due to the antibiotics?

There is a 2019 US tab. You just have to look further to the right. She doesn’t have it alongside the 2019 World tab.

If you’d like to give me editing rights and let me double check it, I’ll be happy to. It is a little tricky. Please send me a PM. Thank you!

I was looking at the 2020 tab. I saw that it needed to be moved....but all the dates on it ended in 2019 like they had been copied/pasted from the 2019 tab. I felt so sorry for her having to go back and change them.

It's all fixed now though! Good job @Carina Josefine !

Oh that was okay. Good you made me aware! The "find and replace" function took care of it. Thankfully!

Sorry I just now saw this.

Next time, if you get a Pre-shot you're not sure about shooting, stall, don't feed and test again in 20-30 minutes to see if the number goes up without the influence of food. Use that time to post here ..if you've already got a post going, edit the subject line and say something like "STALLING...NEED HELP!" to get somebody's attention.

Also, if you comment on your post, it brings it to the top of the forum. If your post is getting lost, bump it up until you get help.

I'd try to get an early test in today. It can help predict what might happen later in the cycle. (like a +2)

Oh alright. I'll do that next time. I stalled 30 min and she was the same, so I shot something in between Needlejuice and 0.1.

She is very high again today. I made a new thread for new day and new questions. Would you rather I stick to one thread?
