So far so good. Maybe she will like this dose. Now that I said it she will prove me wrong.

New food- so far she likes the Perfect Bistro Chicken and the ProPlan Focus Urinary Tract Beef and Chicken. They are both under 4% carbs and the phos on Proplan is 218. The Perfect Bistro is a whopping 431 will have to forget that one and they all liked it.

Not easy finding a food low in both. And just a couple of cans to try first. It seems PetSmart and Pet Supply have eliminated a lot of the brands.

Too bad about the Perfect Bistro. Finding lc and lp is hard. :banghead: I hope you find something they like.

I tested on micro and nova max. Just seems like down 1.75 units in 11 days, with skipped shots and bcs, something isn't right. It just can't be, not Ollie, not with acro or chronic p'titis.

Must say drawing up 4 units is harder. I can see the 5 on syringe so much better. Yeah I should be happy it's less but complaining how next line is easier. Is there no pleasing me..........It's like I'm on eggshells waiting for the worst to happen yet.
 
I feel your pain in drawing those smaller doses...wait until it gets less than 1 unit to try out the old eyes ...not easy that one...

Looks like Ollie is working that juice...and you're doing such a great job with her...I hope she keeps going in that direction :)

Yes our civvie Allen was on low carb low phos diet and I think I found one food and of course he wouldn't eat it.

I'm trying to keep phos under 250 at this point. Not ideal but it is better than the FF. Ollie is borderline ckd so I'm trying. I just don't want to order full case yet. The stores sell very limited brands now to try a few cans first.
 
I've been using Aluminum Hydroxide Powder for over a year now & Ravan's Kidney values have improved.
Anytime he eats food with over 200 Phos. I add a quarter teaspoon of the powder mixed into a teaspoon of water & mix it in the food.

Halo turkey & duck is 201 Organix chicken is only 182 & Whole Earth Farms chicken 182 (Ravan eats mostly a raw diet)
ProPlan Focus Urinary Tract Turkey & Giblets is 187

The acro tumour can pulse down, as well as up. Welcome to micro dosing, at least in an acro world. :p

Well the tumour needs to decide what to do and stay there. If it's going to pulse down then do it and be done already. Fluctuating can not be good for Ollie and certainly not this bean. I'm still waiting for the axe to fall here.

Thanks Joy. I will see where I can find them. The Whole Earth Chicken is 10% carbs according to the food chart. So that one is no good.
 
Paula, I use to feed Whole Earth and it has a new formula that is very high in phosphorus..I'd check it out ...I fed the duck pate for several years and had to switch to Holistic Select ...low 200s so not perfect but good ...also feed Weruva Steak Frites ...the Whole Earth formulas changed since Dr Lisa's newest food chart

Well shoot. I guess that's off the list then.

I see the brand I and Love and You. Beef is good. Ordered from Wal-Mart. I have an email out to company to confirm.
