Oh I had a fun day yesterday - it wasn't really light enough to get any pics of the Farmer's Market - I go thru there early because it's gets so crowded later - and didn't slow down long enough to look at much. Picked up some more of those 'ugly' tomatoes and some zucchini. I ran off to do the rest of my errands and visited a nice new store called 'Seed to Table' - WOW! I should have taken some pics in there - fabulous new huge store with 'stations' all over for various things - like a huge coffee/pastries station; another one where they were baking bread; another for baking pizza with a huge stone oven with a flame inside; a huge wine section - I didn't go in there - but DH probably would - I understand you can buy a glass of wine to walk around the store with - a section for fresh meats and seafoods - a section where they made fresh homemade pastas and sauces; a guacamole/salsa section - it just went on and on...I'll try for pics next time.

In the afternoon I went to an Art Show - and again forgot to take any photos - beautiful beautiful art and fancy jewelry. I inquired about one lovely pendant in a display case - gold with diamonds and a huge tourmaline - the artist said '$30,000' :p Moving on....

Luci was a good girl and let mama and DH out of the house for a few hours. This morning we're thinking it's a good idea to go to the beach as soon as it's light out. Here's a pic from Christmas Day when we walked on Barefoot beach. It's the closest to our place - about 10 minutes away. We love the beaches when it's quiet and like to go early before they too get crowded...

Have a wonderful day everyone! May you and your kitties be safe and surf safely! I always think of @Judy and Boomer when we have a pic of any birds now. I hope little Boomer eats his fuds today!

Always nice to get out and see new things, sounds like you had a blast yesterday. Always good to get away from the house for a little bit. Glad Luci let you get away:)

Glad you had a great time. Think I would faint that a piece of jewelry had that price tag. That vendor must have an armor guard standing there.

I was thinking the same thing! No, there were no guards present anywhere around...I'm sure she had millions of dollars worth of jewelry in her booth...

There are several there with high end jewelry...they say people buy it - but I've personally never seen anyone in the midst of a transaction at any of those booths...the inexpensive stuff has a lot of customers...I'm one of them :) I can't imagine paying thousands of dollars for a piece of jewelry like that at the 'art show' in a parking lot...hmmm...
