Mr. Kitty has had low pre-shots the last 2 days and thankfully, we’re home all day to test while we prepare for the holidays.

The sun is shining and we’re having a heat wave of 48F. Three cheers!

WOW! Mr. Kitty you are looking fantabulous!!! I saw your 48 and thought 'gotta be in the midwest'...I'm hearing about those temps in Michigan...unusual bu they're glad to have it!
 
Mr. Kitty is 50 at +2.5; he has low carb wet to snack on and we’ll continue to test him. Of course we’re going to be gone all day tomorrow and wondered if we should shave his am dose down a little. Is there anyone online that can help us?
 
Help me understand your dosing. Your SS says you reduced to 1.75 from 1.75f yesterday morning, then increased back up last night, then down again this morning? Is that correct? Just trying to understand what size the depot thinks it is and are you asking about shaving the dose again or?

Our spreadsheet should read 1.75f but my husband forgot to add the “f” so I’ll correct that. We’re leaving right after his amps and won’t be home until PMPS so I’m wondering if we should shave it down to 1.5 or 1.75 since we won’t be able to monitor him at all.
 
Still TBD if he goes below 50 tonight and really earns a reduction, but if you want, you could reduce tomorrow. The problem is the 1.75f unit depot will still be in play, which means the first part of tomorrow’s cycle will likely play out as if you had shot the full dose. I would suggest leaving out plenty of higher carb food for him to snack on while you are gone.

Thank you for responding. He’s up to 72 +4.5 (nadir is usually +4) so it’s safe to keep him at his usual dose. We’ll leave out plenty of food, too. Thanks again for the reassurance.
