Yesterday. Caber Yr 2 Day 76

This is for Ollie only. Please do not follow or copy her dosing. She is on cabergoline for acro which can cause creative dosing.

Last night I reduced again by 0.5 units, however for her I think is to much on top of the .25 done on the 18th. Wanted to drain the depot some more and get her out of the low limes she has been staying in to long.

This morning dose up .25 and hopefully when depot adjusts it will be a good dose for her. It appears anytime she is on 5 units or below, it's not enough and we end up going up and over where we were before she barrels down again like this. I'm hoping to prevent that this time. Ollie doesn't handle fast changes well at all. So pass crossed we can settle her down. Again this pertains to Ollie only.

In the PJ front. Very early this morning PJ must have been in bed and jumped down. The thud and cry woke me up. I check on her and she was trying to get up and hissed. She got herself into other room curled up and stayed put. PJ has always been hard to approach, still feral in that regard, so best to let her be or she will injure herself more trying to get away. Using the pop up was a disaster. When I got up at 6 to do Ollie's t/f/s she was under chair in living room. She would not take her gab and she would not eat her food with some in there. If anything I would love to confine her to spare room so she can't jump up or down on anything for a few days but just won't let us get to her now. Last night I noticed her favoring the 1/2 leg probably from using it to much to compensate. It's both left legs which makes it very difficult for her. I would love to get some bupre in her if I could, but I think that would be impossible right now. The living room really needs to be vacuumed but can't since she hiding in there.

I need to run to municipal building to turn in my Oath certificate and pick up papers for the audit meeting in Jan. Stay turned for Ollie +6 coming shortly.

Give her a little time and quiet to settle down... poor thing. I hope she hasn't injured herself...and won't need a cast! That stuff on the living room floor won't bother her a bit...so no worries on vacuuming anytime soon...

Best of luck this afternoon with Ollie...

I think she was feeling better and started doing to much and has now aggravated it more. I'm surprised urgent care didn't even wrap it. But they said because of 1/2 leg on same side it would be worse for her.

Sorry about PJ hurting herself again.....it is so hard to confine cats. When Yoyo had surgery for the biopsy on his front leg back in 2017 he came home with his leg wrapped and I was told not to let him jump. So I put him in one of my large dog kennels. Worst mistake that I made....he got crazy in there and chewed off his bandage and his leg was bleeding. Had to take him back to the vet and have his leg re-wrapped. I sure learned the hard way:woot:
I hope PJ feels better and I hope Ollie is surfing safely for you:D

Hoping this dose will be good. Looks promising, but we have a few more cycles to go yet. So far I wouldn't mind repeating this cycle all the time.

So far so good with Ollie. Something I noticed on and off with her lately. When the food bowl touches the floor and clinks, soft clink at that, her head shakes a little. Tonight it happened and her back end fell over. Then she just walked into living room, didn't want to eat. I put the bowl in front of her on carpet, head did not shake but she didn't eat either.

I wonder if sound is becoming an issue with her. Very strange.

I came home from dropping of my Oath and husband said PJ came out and are and is now on bed. He said she was walking really bad. I'm like why was the door open, I closed it so she couldn't get up on bed, now she is to have to jump down. Arrrr!!!!!!

So I go into to give her some food and she just moved a little away from me, with difficulty and she hissed because it hurt. How are we going to get her off the bed tonight so she doesn't jump.

Can you put in a temporary ramp for PJ? So hard when you cannot help them.

Good luck with Ollie’s dose. I haven’t heard of ears being an acro thing, odd about the clink noise.

We've been thinking of a ramp. I don't know how it will work as it's both legs in one side. To late today to do anything. I put a chair at end of bed hoping she would use it, but so far she is avoiding it and jumped of side of bed where chair won't fit. It would also help if hubby doesn't try to help.
