Yesterday. Caber Yr. 2 Day 75

Things starting to return to normal just a bit. Ollie had a good poop last night. Numbers good so hoping this reduction holds but higher dose still active. Time will tell.

PJ is hopping around more. Last night at bedtime she was on her window self. That's a bit high for her to climb even with 3 good legs. She was still there this morning. I didn't see how she got down but she did. Went into the high sided box, explored the living room and went into the picture window. Now laying at her post at the sliders watching the birds. Still limps and favors the one foot, not hiding, so she is mending.

I get sworn in +4. Still waiting to hear from dad's case manager. Husband has Dr visit with cardiologist today.

We are at 5 degrees F this morning and I believe it's suppose to be that way for couple of days.

Hope everyone has as good a day as possible.

I'm glad Ollie and PJ are doing better. I hope your DH's appointment goes well and you can get things set up for your dad. Sending prayers.

Mercy , Paula, your plate is past full ❤️ Fantastic news on the PJ front . Sending prayers for her continued recovery and your dad's situation .:bighug: And Happy Swearing In Day :)

Could it be the cabergoline increase kicking in?

Glad you got home when you did.

That hasn't been increased in months. If I start getting to low before next bottle comes in I give 0.8 vs 0.84 I don't know if that's enough difference or not. Another I'm wondering is that does it loses efficiency before next bottle arrives but looking back I have not noticed a correlation yet. The last 4 days I've been alternating the old bottle one day and new bottle next day, since there is still about 10 days of old left and it's to expensive to waste it. And some people give every other or every 3 days.

It could be when her dose dropped to 4.75 it was to much at that time. Anytime she goes below 5 units we end up going up and over with wacky numbers.

Mom here also needs to let her surf the 60s and not intervene with high carb or syrup, give chicken shot, and have faith since feeders (3 of them) are set AND husband is home to make sure eats some while I'm working. That's the hardest part, going to work If she is even low blue since there is no testing and I'm gone 8 hrs. I tend to overdue the food and carbs when I walk out the door.

Oh Olive! Gotta be so dramatic? Mama had a busy day today and you have to chase sharks! Behave yourself...otherwise she really is working that juice now!

I hope you have a peaceful evening...congrats on the swearing in - official for another term :)

So I fell asleep after the 7.5 test (it's been hectic, and Ollie's pj parties) No fear she was on the floor in the sun, purring, airing her belly and I was right next to her with meter still in my hand ready for next test. (That would have made a great picture)

Anyway, so tonight I took .5 reduction, but I don't think she is ready for that much on top of the .25 the other day. My thinking was drain a bit more tonight and tomorrow go to 5.25.

@Wendy&Neko is this what you meant yesterday "maybe try the 0.5 unit reduction if you see numbers in the30’s, or at least a BCS the following cycle."

I am official for another 6 yrs. Tomorrow I actually don't have to be anywhere. I might go out to bank or see if hairdresser can get me in (didn't call new place yet). The arctic air might stop me and I have a lot to do in house.

Yes, I would reduce as you did. The 30’s, especially if she lingers more than one test there, means reduce. With acro in the picture, I always dosed safe, especially if it looks like a run of reductions in a row.

You think it's a good idea in the morning if glucose allows to give 5.25? I don't think 5 will be enough then we will have to go up and over again.

Here's something funny I observed.

I notice when Ollie is lime, she is more awake and alert. It seems the blues now make her sluggish. Just gotta get her to stay in the pickle green color.
