? 12/18 - Freckles PMPS 292, @+2 286. Higher carb food?

Sorry, nothing new to say regarding Freckles. Pretty soon, I'm just going to just put ditto marks in my posts! lol Still mellow yellow. One of these times Freckles is going to shock the world!! Did a partial furshot last night - arghhh, so another 6 cycles at this dose.

I'm not sure if I'm just making this up, or if I read it somewhere on this forum that some kitties actually do better with a bit higher carb food - like 7-8%. If someone else recalls this, can you refresh my memory as to what the context was of this information? Freckles is getting between 0-3% carbs canned FF.

On another note, I showed Freckles the parcel that came today. 800 testing strips!! and explained that means 800 pricks to the old ears ... so start cooperating!!

Yes it is true that some kitties can do better with carbs around 3 or 4% instead of 0% carbs.
You can always trial Freckles on 7% carbs and see how he goes.
Document it all in the SS so it is easy to see.

Thanks Bron. Does it work out to be 7% carbs if I combine equal amounts of, for example, a 3% carb and a 11% carb food? Or do carbs not really work that way?
