12/15 Makoto AMps ( 95/135) after skipped PM shot +1.5 (412)

I expected him to be higher .. I left MC/LC mix in his feeder overnight. AMPS (95) , I didn't believe it so I recheck on the other foot and got (135)...?

What is he doing and should I give the full 0.25 dose and just prop him with MC food +1,+2...?

Gave a smaller token dose to get him back on schedule ( sort of) . Will fed MC snack at +1 and +2 and just watch closely throughout the day. Don't want another reduction yet and I am working again overnight.

That's a very interesting start for not having a shot last night. I'm sorry I can't be of any help re:dosing. My only suggestion is housekeeping related. In the span that we test/feed/shoot, it doesn't allow for much time to answer very important questions we have for the board. I've learned that if you're anticipating an issue with #s or dosing, post your thread well in advance of your shot time. If you get a PMPS +10/+11 it can give you some data that will prepare you for an issue prior to AMPS(next cycle). You can always change your condo to include pertinent info. I've done this several times in the past. I know you had to work so, you may have not been able to get a +10/+11. Just smthg to keep in mind for the future. You can also put a question mark in your prefix. That helps. I've also seen members include AT2 in their condo because some(probably just me lol) aren't familiar with the normal # range for the AT2. When Makoto could be having issues due to low #s...it looks like normal #s to us who use human meters. Your thread may not get the attention you need in a moment of crisis. JMO. I could be totally wrong and am still learning too:facepalm::)
I'm glad Makoto was able to get some insulin today. You'll get back on track with him so, don't fret:) They don't call it the sugar dance for nothing:p
Have a wonderful day Ari!

There is quite a big difference in those tests. Did you test again when you got the 412? If you are able to, it's always a good idea to get a second test if you get a number that is different than you expect to make sure you didn't get a bad test. I hope Makoto comes back down for you.

This morning I posted as soon as I could after getting the numbers.. I wasn't anticipating a problem though.
I had a question mark for an hour and got nothing this morning, so I gave up and took it down since I wasn't waiting for an answer anymore really.
I also posted yesterday an hour and a half -at least before I had to go to work with a similar question on dosing also with a question mark and had the same experience. Maybe the AT note would get a response, but if a prefix doesn't even get a read....why would I think something else would work.

I'm sorry:( The only other thing, that I know of, is to try and tag some peeps that are on. If you've been helped in the past by someone, you could try tagging them.

@Si am cat mom sorry Ari, I took a few days off. I don't see a recent post, so I wanted to quickly check in and seee how Makoto is doing. Makoto sure isn't following the playbook, so I think that is why some people are reluctant to offer advice. From what I can see, you may have had some of the depot working am cycle on Dec 14th. I hope today with some of the disruption in the depot, you can start to see what 0.25u looks like. It can a few days for the depot to build, after the NS and token doses, I'd keep trying the MC for a few more days, to see if that flattens him out. Food experiments need a bit of time so you can see if you need to adjust. I know it can be frustrating, hang in there, and please let us know how you are doing when you get a chance?
