Luci is way up there in the trees this morning...oh this girl! She does seem to love her yellow starts doesn't she?

A muggy warm morning out there today...I'm headed out to the Farmer's Market and a few errands...

I think they were all up to no good this morning! Charlotte was also higher than she’s been?! These cats- can’t figure them out sometimes! Just why??

With them it is probably something like 'just because I can and you cannot do anything about it'. Like my brother says, they need couch therapy because being the center of attention and as beautiful they are, it is very stressful. I know for Chanel, keeping the good looks is very difficult responsibility, if she is not washing herself extensively then she is most probably doing her beauty sleep...one of many. And this is why they look great and we are aging faster...we do not get to do much of a beauty sleep

With them it is probably something like 'just because I can and you cannot do anything about it'. Like my brother says, they need couch therapy because being the center of attention and as beautiful they are, it is very stressful. I agree 100%!! If I could only get half the sleep that they get each day, it would be glorious!! My cat Shamus sounds like Chanel- any time you pet him he has to clean him for the next hour. And then, he’s fast asleep on the couch or on the floor on his back!

oh man, I know exactly what you say. I wake up every two hours at night because she always wants something, sometimes just to pet her. She sleeps all day while I am at work and then she thinks I am fresh and ready to stay up all night. I really think she imagines I sleep at work too during day. You pet them or brush them, then they go away from you but not to far just enough to make you feel bad seeing them redo the whole beautification process because you just mess two hairs in their fur arrangement. But it is a pleasure to watch and I have to say watching her sleep makes me sleepy too.

I totally understand! All those furs have to be appropriately arranged for proper napping etiquette! Such a lovely girl she is!!
