12/9 Walter AMPS 94.PMPS 543

I know his numbers will go up, but I think it is safest to skip. His numbers are dropping from last night and you don't have the data to know what he'll do.

I tend to agree. This might be the new “normal” but it’s hard to know. The thing is if I keep skipping the doses when his BG is low I’m afraid I’m never going to know where he’s really landed. But for now I am planning to skip the dose.

It's definitely frustrating to keep skipping and seeing him high in the evening. Two things: first, he's most likely high at those times because of bouncing from the lows, not the skip. So at this point, the highs are probably already baked-in, no matter what you do now. Second, you and Walter will soon get to the point where you can comfortably shoot the lower numbers. You've already shot numbers in the 120's and 140's recently; if you were able to monitor today, you might even be able to try the 94, it's just that without monitoring that's not a comfortable number to shoot on an AT, not unless you were sure he was on the way up. And since he looks like he's breaking the bounce from the other day, definitely not a comfortable number to shoot!

Walter's moving on down the dose ladder, it's hard to tell with a bouncy kitty, but he's definitely looking like he's wanting less insulin these days!

Thank you for the explanation (I feel better now!). I'm at work all week but will try to get more info during the night hours. Poor little guy.

At least Walter is working that insulin! Good for him. I hope he's eating better and putting on some weight. He looks pretty slim in his pic.

Hope you are doing well ZeldaMay!
