Good Morning...Yesterday was a hectic day for Yoyo and myself. For some reason Yo wanted to play with the sharkies and I was trying to keep him away from the sharkies. Hopefully today will be a much calmer day in the house :)

Yo is back to his old way of eating.....he's not!! Now he is not liking his new food anymore. I guess the novelty has worn off. Back to hand feeding, here we go again:eek:

Hope everyone has just about everyting in the house needed to make a beautiful Thanksgiving Dinner!!

Nice relaxing blue start for Yoyo! Hope he eats better. Sometimes when Zoé doesn't eat, I give her a very little bit of regular food mixed with her low phosphorus.

Lets put it this way, he doesn't spit the food out and he does swallow it which is a good sign:cat::cat:.... If he would show me that gag reflex motion, then I would stop immediately. He is really a good boy to let me feed him and not bite me. Once I learned how to get the food into his mouth, it was simple to do but it did take some practice.

He is a terrible eater:( He loved to eat his dry food when he wanted to eat it. He still doesn't like me telling him when to eat.....he would eat all day and night. It is sad that his way of eating was taken away from him.

I’m glad you were able to keep Yoyo safe yesterday Debra! I hope he starts to eat without force feeding soon. That must be hard on you... you’re a very good cat mom :)

Funny, I just wrote you when I got a notice that I had an Alert.
Feeding Yo is very time consuming especially when I have to follow him all over the room until he picks a spot that he will allow me to feed him at. But I guess we all do what we have to do for our little loved ones. When he actually eats by himself, you would think that I won the lottery :)

How do your kitties like Dr. Elsey's clean protein canned? I called the company to find out the phosphorous amounts but I never received an email from them. I need to call them back!

That's from their website. You've probably already seen it. I think I read in a thread on FDMB that it was a little too high in phos. for CRF. I hope you can find a decent phos. content among the different varieties they have.
My cats LOVE Dr. Elsey's! I emailed them for free samples before we dove into a purchase. They sent me dry samples because I didn't specify canned. But, they will send canned samples too! Great company!
 
Yoyo's BG is looking very good Debra:)
I hated reading that he has lost interest in his new food. I have civvies that have done that - first liked it fine, so I bought more, then they lost interest. I've been through that several times, but not with Tina after diabetes (lucky again). I think the more we think "healthy, best choice, etc.", they are alerted to not like ito_O
It's great that Yoyo is a pretty good weight. Tina is sending hunger vines to her boy:bighug::bighug::bighug:

I mean... I guess winning any lottery is great! I definitely know what you mean about the chasing around. Sometimes I have to do that when mowgli is feeling less than ecstatic about BG tests! I seriously don’t know how well I would do having to feed Mowgli with a syringe but I totally admire you for tackling it head on :)
