Hey there, I see you are following SLGS which would say to hold the dose for 7 days. But that said, you haven't seen a nadir lower than 203. I don't think you can count those blues he got the PM of 11/23 since he had upchucked according to your comments.


There is some data missing on the SS from 11/18 -11-22. Were you unable to get any testing in during the cycle during that time?

If there is no dry food in the mix, I would suggest you switch to TR so you won't have to hold the dose for 1 week and have him in these higher numbers, especially since he has had DKA back in August. Then you could do an increase as long as you can monitor.

You can switch to TR for the week. It's also possible to do TR while working full time. SLGS wasn't an option when I first joined here so ai managed Gabby's diabetes while working full time.

One thought -- are. you still feeding Walter the DM Selects? It's 10% carb which is on the edge of the low carb zone. Could you stick with the Fancy Feast (and please double check the carb count) pate for a week and see how Walter does? Some cats are incredibly sensitive to carbs and I'm wondering if the DM is pushing up his numbers.

Hi— I’ve been mixing the two but will now just feed the FF pate. I think it’s 4% which is significantly lower. . The vet thought that there might be some GI stuff going on but I haven’t spoken to him. So— should I increase or hold?
 
Nice going on the testing today! It's so helpful to see what's going on between those shot times. I hope you'll be able to do TR for the week that you're off...
