Better late than never, huh? It's been a whirlwind day - between errands this morning and working this afternoon .... and poor Luci with these high numbers today..
She's hanging up in that lemon tree and I think that foot is really REALLY sensitive now. She's gone and done it by removing the protection I think it's really sore and she's holding it up carefully. She is really guarding it and I'm super careful when I test her - it's probably better that her numbers are a little higher - because it requires less testing ... but it breaks my heart to see her pathetic little foot.
And to respond to several of you who mentioned a splint versus a cast - it did appear the last one was part split and part cast - the vet has said that if I bring the splint part back he can reuse it but he's going to put the taping part higher on her leg...I just wish she'd leave it all alone so her leg can heal up.
