Low pmps 66 do I does the drop. I’ve stalled for now

Remember once she is off insulin you will be able to go back to FF. It’s just now that she needs the slightly higher carbs so she can keep having the drop of insulin safely until she is in greens most/ all of the time.

yes thank you for all your support. im going to look through the food chart again now.
No uti or infection
Glucose from Bloods at vet 23.
He is saying that’s why she isn’t eating glucose too high
But she wasn’t that high last night or this morning. So I’m confused. I don’t thi k he is happy I’m monitoring and changing doses

He also mentioned straight from bloods so don’t thino was a glucometer reading from him today

Oh - now I see what you mean about "glucose from bloods". I have read from other posts and info on this board that "vet stress" can increase glucose levels. I'm interested in hearing experienced members take on your vet experience and SS numbers.

Yes me too. Her level was not too high last night. She didnt eat and this morning she was 6.6 (118) still did not eat. I didn’t give dose this morning. She has been that high a few days ago but seems to come down a lot lower and has not seemed off her food previously. So a bit strange in my eyes.

She is home and straight to her food. She has had some fluids at the vets.
Her level now at home was 14 (250) so nothing uncommon

I may have not been giving her enough food last 3-4 days hence the weight loss and maybe off food for a day?? Not sure.
Will monitor and see how she goes

The 23 (414) would most probably have been from the skipped dose this morning and vet stress. And their equipment always reads higher I have found. If it was a pet meter it also would have read higher.
I doubt that the 'not eating' was from high BG.
I just think the vet didn't know the cause.
And I wouldn't worry that he is not happy you are monitoring and changing the dose......
If she had stayed on the same dose she would likely have had a hypo by now.
I'm not sure how much your vet knows about FD...

I'm glad she is home and eating. She probably feels better after the fluids.
I thought you were giving her several small meals during the day and night.
If not I would certainly do that. Much better for the pancreas and help keep the BGs steady.
Maybe a bit more food will help too as you say.

Can you start a new condo tomorrow please?:) This one is several days old,
