Luna is doing well. We had the feeding tube removed on Monday and her appetite has been great. Her neck is still wrapped because she's still scratching a lot and we don't want her to tear off the scab.
We're feeding a large meal and a small meal within a 4 hour window each cycle; so between 8AM-12PM and 8PM-12AM. We're also supplementing with l-carnitine for the fatty liver and Omega-3 for general inflammation.
She still seems a little bit off, but I guess that's to be expected after the month she has had. We're starting to see some playing but it's mostly just sleeping. No interest in talking to the birds outside the window yet.
We're back up to 1.5U after trying 1U for a week. The food we're giving her now is 10% carbs, up from the 1-2% we were feeding before all of this stuff happened. I guess that's why we're seeing higher numbers and need a larger dose. The Libre has been great and Luna doesn't seem to mind it. We're starting to see similarities with our testing from before; lower numbers during the day, and higher numbers at night. So maybe Luna is the opposite of most cats and goes higher at night. Her numbers are still higher than we're used to, but our vet said he would be happy if we can keep her in the 150-300 range. We're hoping to see them start to come back down as we settle into a routine again.
