Nov 20 Walter AMPS 574. PMPS 495

Ideally you're supposed to work your way back to your normal shot time by moving the shot in one 30 min. increment each day or two 15 min. increments each day. If you move more than that you have to be careful because an early shot acts like a dose increase.

Zelda, could you please update your title to the date + kitty name + AMPS?

11/20 Walter AMPS - should I change dose schedule this AM?

And YES you will want to move your schedule for dosing to only 15 minutes earlier than what time you shot last night - per Carla's recommendation above. Tonight you can move it 15 minutes earlier again.

Ok—thanks Carla and Sue. Updating the thread title now.

I'm glad to see Walter came down a little tonight. Is there no one at home during the day to get a test mid-cycle? It would be very helpful to get one at any other time than just pre-shot to see if the insulin helped him at all. Hope you can get another test or two tonight before bed.

Have a good evening Zelda!

Thanks! No one home during the day but will get a couple more readings before I nod off tonight. Might also be able to get a reading after midnight.

I'm hoping if you can get a few tests - and yes, getting one in the middle of the night would be wonderful! You'll see that he's getting some help from the insulin - it's typically around mid-cycle that you'll see lower numbers - not very often at AM or PM pre-shot time.
