11-12 (Yesterday). Good morning! Prayers for the CGs and all the sweet ones. I hope everyone has a blessed day!
Moey had a booootiful cycle yesterday. He started creeping up at AMPS +10. I wonder if this is his way to protest his new dose by giving small bounces or if the insulin is waning that much towards the end of the cycle. It makes sense(in my brain at least) that the +12 nadirs he's been giving is a result of him breaking the bounce and showing his true colors. Maybe...I dunno?!? Moey was a true gentlecat in the PMPS cycle. He knows momma loves her sleep so, he steered his own cycle! At PMPS +5, I knew something was up. Both bowls of food were practically empty and he was inhaling what was left. Ittle was sleeping peacefully so, Moey was the bowl licking culprit! In true Moey fashion he was BG=56. I figured he was going to get a nice food bump from all the food he had consumed(he's a lil carb sensitive it seems). So at +6(practically +6.5) he was up to 75. That's my boy!!!!!! He loves his mommy! He let me sleep uninterrupted for a few hours:joyful:

If you gave him any MC or HC yesterday during the a.m. cycle, the rise at the end of the cycle could have easily been due to loss of duration. It rather looks like it than a bounce since he came right back down last night with the PM shot. Bounces don’t usually clear that fast.

Only food he was given yesterday was LC. Wanted to see what he does without assistance. I did give him MC on 11/6 and 11/10 but, nothing since.

Interesting because that is definitely loss of duration; it’s possible he had less absorption. Absorption can vary up to 50% from shot to shot. I had Gracie lose duration for no apparent reason but, as Moey, get right back to it after the next shot.

Nothing to worry about; he looks great.
