You should have "trash" file for your Google documents. It will be in there.

If you are having a problem, send a PM to @Marje and Gracie. She's great with spreadsheets. I don't know if you will have lost the formatting that translates the world #s to the US format if you deleted the page. Once you rescue it, you'll have to see.

Sienne is correct. Look in the trash in your google drive. If you can’t find it, please PM me.

I have company right now but can fix it later today, if need be. Thank you.

    Hi Nikki
    Just looked at your SS.
When you get a green (or much lower than the previous BG) it is always important to get another test in to check that Fifi is not dropping lower.
In the last couple of days you have got a 4.6 (82), 4.8 and a 5.1 during the first 3 or 4 hours of the cycles and each time you didn’t get another test to check if Fifi was safe.
The 17 (306) this morning would indicate that she dropped lower than the 5.1 at +4 last night and bounced.
I would strongly recommend you get a follow up test each time to make sure Fifi is not dropping lower.

I hope you are not being impacted by the bush fires although I would imagine the smoke from them would be bad where you are.

Thanks. Last few days have been busy and although Fifi is being watched. I haven’t checked her as often as I’d like.
Have a few issues with humans this week.
smoke has been on today. Not so great yesterday.

    Hi Nikki @NikkiN
Marje and Sienne will be asleep now so won't answer for several hours.
Looking back on your SS several days I noticed you got a 2.7 (48.6) and you didn't get another test in afterwards. That is very risky because Fifi could have dropped to dangerous levels.
Please always get another test in when the number is low, or if it is much lower than previous shots.
Also you haven't got in any pm cycle tests for 3 days.
Fifi could be in low numbers and you wouldn't know.
You have earned a reduction in dose 4 times (2.7 (48.6), 4.3 (77), 4.6 (83) and 4.8 (86) in the last 5 days, when you are doing SLGS, and haven't taken it. With SLGS the dose is reduced when you drop under 90 (5).
Please do take some tests tonight to see how low Fifi is dropping.

I am going to ask @Marje and Gracie whether she thinks you should reduce the dose to 1 drop or 2 drops of insulin tomorrow morning. Could you post and ask before giving the dose please?

Hi thanks Bron I have had some pretty tough days keeping me at the hospital and in emergency with my MIL suffering with cancer. I haven’t been able to test Fifi as much due to this. I’ve done the am and pmps and taken it from there. I didnt dose this morning from memory as she was under 5. I’ll endeavour to do a couple tonight and tomorrow during the day when I can. I’m confused as to what levels do I stop altogether. Or so you almost just keep getting reductions until there is nothing left.

Nikki I am so sorry you have your MIL in Hospital. That is tough.
If you find you can't test Fifi, the best thing to do is to leave some food out for her. If she is in low numbers, then leave some higher carb food out. I'd hate it for you to come home and find she had suffered a hypo.
2.7 is a 'take action' number and Fifi needs some high carb food if she gets a number like that again.

I have asked a couple of people to look at your SS for the morning and advise you about the dose. So log on and see what they advise before you give any insulin. Skipping this morning with the 4.3 if you couldn't monitor was a good call. Safety first always.

Fifi is doing very well.....she looks like she could possibly go into remission. But we want it to be a strong remission, so you need to keep reducing the dose until she is in green numbers all the time. Then she can go on an 'off the juice' trial. We will help you with all of that.
But until then, you need to keep giving her insulin and monitoring the BG to keep her safe.
    Best wishes to your MIL

Ok great thanks. That helps a lot. Fifi is very happy and has been herself. She has people coming and going most days so she is not alone. Just not always getting the insulin checks done at the moment. I’ll post what I can and be sure to check in the morning. Anything under 5 and I wont shoot at all. Thanks for your concern and help. Appreciate it.

I’ll send you a private message so I can fix the SS. That’s really important. Please check your inbox as I will send you instructions to give me editing rights. Thank you.

I will be back in a while to offer some suggestions on dosing. Sorry can’t do it now....I have two ravenous creatures at my feet ;)

I am so very sorry about your MIL:bighug::bighug:

I’d drop the dose back to one drop twice a day. The way to draw one drop is to push the plunger of the syringe all the way in, insert it into the pen or vial, let go of the pressure on the plunger. It will draw in a drop.

In addition to dropping the dose, I would also advise to feed her a higher low carb food so something in the 6-10% range.

In principle, I agree with what Marje said. When I open your spreadsheet, though, it's blank.

It’s fixed. It was blank because the World tab was way over to the right and the US tab was gone. I could see her World tab and the numbers there before I made the recommendation.

I’ve missed her pmps and dose. I’ve been extremely un well with some gastro bug. I’ve checked her now at +11 and she is 17.3 should I dose the drop or will she need more

Please dose the drop. She earned a reduction; if you didn’t give insulin last night, that is the reason her AMPS is up. Let’s see how she does on the drop. We might need to take her back up but it’s best to reduce for safety especially if you are ill and all you have going on with your MIL.

You are very welcome. Feel better!!!

What we are looking for is to see if she can come back down into green. We need to give her a couple cycles to get past this skipped shot. If she doesn’t come back down to green, we will want to take her back up.
